About:
Dr Ogunniyi was born in East London, grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and then moved to the US where she completed a Bachelors in Biology and Philosophy at University of St Thomas, Houston in 2000. She went on to study medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, qualifying in 2005.
She subsequently completed all her post-qualification training in Suffolk, before taking up her role here in September 2015. Her main interests are in holistic patient care, particularly with regards to prevention, self-care and social prescribing.
