Meet our Team

There are lots of different kinds of healthcare professionals working in your GP surgery, besides your GP. They each have distinct roles and specialist skills.

When you contact the surgery, you will be offered an appointment with the person who is best placed to help your needs.

We have a wide variety of expertise within the practice with partners having well established interests in palliative care, diabetes, commissioning, care of the elderly and family planning.

Healthcare Team Roles

There are lots of different kinds of healthcare professionals working in your GP surgery, besides your GP. They each have distinct roles and specialist skills.

When you contact the surgery, you will be offered an appointment with the person who is best placed to help your needs.

Visit the NHS Suffolk and North East Essex ICB website to learn more about the different specialists working in GP practices. Please note – your GP surgery may host some, but not all, of these roles.

Practice Information

  • At the rear of the surgery is a large car park for patient use only when attending the surgery.
  • We also have disabled spaces and disabled ramp access to the surgery.

Parking:

As a busy town centre Practice we are lucky to be able to offer parking to our patients. However, this is limited and we would ask all our patients to use this wisely and only for the duration of the appointment.

Where possible, please use alternative parking elsewhere in the surrounding area to free up spaces for patients who find walking any distance difficult. Our car park is remotely managed by Parking Eye to ensure that the car park is used solely by patients attending appointments or using the adjoining pharmacy.

Patients are allowed to park for 90 minutes. If you are going to be longer than this please let a member of staff know. If you have received a fine then you will need to appeal directly through Parking Eye. You will need to provide evidence to support your appeal.

GP Patient Survey

The GP Patient Survey is an independent survey run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of NHS England. The survey is sent out to over two million people across England. The results show how people feel about their GP practice.
