Mrs Jo Lennox

Business Practice Manager

Jo joined the Surgery on 5th January 2015 and whilst new to Primary Care, has extensive NHS experience in the field of contracting and procurement having put together the first ever NHS national contract for Hospital Locum Doctors to regulate the market and control costs.

Prior to joining Burlington Primary Care, Jo was an established Lecturer in Business and Management for FdA, BSc and Masters degree courses in Essex.  Jo joins the Practice with a wealth of management experience having held Executive and Senior Management roles at a National level; managing the supplier base and writing policy for the Department of Health as well as running her own business in a self employed capacity.

Jo is now committed to the vision of the Practice to deliver excellent clinical outcomes with safe, well led care to Burlington's population of patients to be an effective first choice provider.  Your views and comments are always welcome and Jo reviews all of them personally as she is passionate to improve the way in which Burlington Primary Care delivers its healthcare provision.

Gina HansenGina Hansen

Gina is from Ipswich and has been the IT Manager at BPC since 2001.  She has qualifications in IT security, administration, support and maintenance and is responsible our IT systems and associated processes.  Key elements of this include data integrity and security to ensure accuracy and privacy of patient records.  Gina's outside interests include reading, skiing and dog walking.

Administration

The Surgery has an experienced team of administrators who deal day to day with all prescription requests, general administration to ensure the smooth running of the Surgery. 

Reception

We have a large receptionist team who are overseen by the Head Receptionist, who have the demanding task of meeting the needs of the patients and the medical staff. The receptionists are the first point of contact for people contacting the Surgery.  To assist you as promptly as possible they will need as much information as possible from you, so that they can direct your enquiry to the most relevant person.  They are there to help.

Secretaries

The Medical Secretaries work closely with the Doctors providing all correspondence relating to the patients need
